Bear Creek Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the lodge’s infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency. This hands-on managerial role is responsible for maintaining all areas of the property, safeguarding guest and owner confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies. The Maintenance Manager will effectively manage staff, budget reserves, vendors, and facility projects to uphold the lodge’s exceptional standards.
This is a full-time, year-round position with a work schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Lead, supervise, and oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and provide guidance to staff, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Manage contracts and outsourced services related to facility and grounds maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all condos/units, public areas, buildings, and grounds meet safety and maintenance standards.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC servicing, irrigation, landscaping/snow removal, pool system maintenance, and kitchen appliance repairs.
- Oversee the work order program, ensuring timely completion and accurate billing of supplies and labor.
- Develop and manage daily and weekly maintenance schedules, auditing tasks regularly for completion.
- Act as a primary point of contact for owners, guests, and vendors, addressing significant maintenance issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, adhering to OSHA standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, pool systems, and safety/security measures.
- Manage purchasing and inventory expenses within budget parameters, charging out costs to appropriate owners/accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in maintenance, preferably in property management and building maintenance. High-level maintenance skillset, basic plumbing and electric skills, and general skilled labor experience.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to ascend and descend stairs, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
